Solution: Comprehensive Basement Waterproofing and Structural Reinforcement Solutions
Our team implemented a comprehensive waterproofing strategy to effectively resolve the water intrusion challenges in the basement. We installed an extensive 311 feet of our Main Drain system, coupled with four high-capacity 1-HP sump pumps. This robust, stand-alone drainage channel system is designed explicitly for interior basement waterproofing. It efficiently channels water entering through the walls or floor seams into the system.
The sump pump and basin combo then actively expels this water, diverting it away from the foundation, thereby safeguarding the basement from water-related damage and ensuring long-term dryness.
Additionally, our crew installed eight Force Braces to address the critical issue of foundation wall failure. These braces are high-strength, tension-loaded steel I-Beams engineered to provide structural support and stabilization.
They are expertly designed to straighten and reinforce block or concrete walls, preventing further foundation movement. This reinforcement rectifies current structural issues and serves as a preventative measure against future foundation shifts.
We installed two advanced dehumidifiers in the basement to complete our comprehensive solution. These units are vital for maintaining optimal humidity levels and mitigating the risks associated with excessive moisture, such as mold growth, musty odors, and deterioration of interior finishes.
